Wedding season during an on-going pandemic? Can it be done? YES IT CAN!
With the ever-changing gathering restrictions, planning for weddings means getting creative. Many couples are not giving up on the dream, but are proceeding with caution, opting for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Basically, they are making lemonade with the lemons!
We have tented scores of beautiful, socially distanced weddings since last year and there is a common theme–Spread love, not germs! We are seeing larger tents being used to accommodate social distancing, and bigger dance floors that provide enough space for guests to spread out. Brides and bridesmaids often wear masks coordinating with their dresses. Grooms too!
We recently had the pleasure of tenting a wedding for a creative couple who wanted to celebrate their special day, while keeping everyone safe. This couple created a station with custom-labeled mini hand sanitizers, color coordinated masks, as well as accommodating guests at varying table sizes, with some even outside the open tent!
Likewise, our team members are also exercising an abundance of caution. Even though our work is outside, staff performs health and temperature checks on all personnel every morning. We wear masks from set up to break down, and in between. We use approved disinfectants and have strict protocols to sanitize our tents and other items. We take this seriously, and want to ensure the safety of our customers, as well as our staff.
